The Kennedy Salver Team 2008 were pictured left to right - Connie Jaffrey (West Kilbride) Hannah Gaunt (Barassie), Mhairi McKay (West Kilbride), Katie McGarva (Barassie), and kneeling left to right Gillian Arnott (Kilbirnie), Team Captain Linzi Allan (Kilbirnie) and Kelly McNee (Loudoun).
The Junior County Team held off a strong challenge from the three other West Division counties - D & A, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire at Ayr Dalmilling Golf Course on Thursday 19th June, to retain the trophy. In blustery testing conditons they won all 3 morning foursomes and followed this up in the afternoon with 3½ points from the singles matches for a winning total of 6½ - two clear of the runners up Lanarkshire.
